Local teacher roller-skates for love on Netflix

Last March, after not finding success on dating apps, Cherry Hill teacher Ryan Green flew to Kansas City, Missouri, where he was set up on no ordinary blind date. Captured on episode seven on the new Netflix show, “Jewish Matchmaking,” Green goes on a date with Nakysha, one of the few Jews of color in that community, at a roller-skating rink. On the date, they discuss everything from the merits of barbecue to the importance of a close-knit family. Green even ties the laces of Nakysha’s skates. She responds by calling him “such a mensch.”
