Since mid-December, hundreds of volunteers have participated in Jewish National Fund-USA missions to Israel and made an impact on Israel’s war effort. Volunteers have hailed from across the United States—from New York to Wyoming—and range from teens to octogenarians, showing that we stand together and united. From fields to hospitals, from schools to small businesses, their efforts have proven essential. In just the first month, Jewish National Fund-USA volunteers, 75% of whom had never been involved with our organization before and 10% of whom hadn’t been to Israel in more than 10 years, packed over 1,000 care packages, picked more than 30 tons of fruit, and lifted countless spirits. The needs continue.

“this is my first trip ever to israel. I just wanted to volunteer to be able to do what needs to be done. I’m so blown away by everything on this mission, it’s been amazing for me, I’m so touched to be here, I’m hopeful. Even though there’s so much sadness, I hope that I can be part of the re-building, whatever that entails.” - Melissa Komaroff, New York, NY
