GREEN HORIZONS
Fostering Youth Leadership Skills
Green Horizons Stands with Israel: Israel Resilience Campaign Activity
· Holding daily activities and hikes for 10,000 displaced children and their families across Israel from north to south
· Deploying trained counselors to evacuated communities to provide respite and activities for children, especially outdoors when possible and safe
· Assisting other affiliates as needed due to the large amount of staff and volunteers who have been called up for service
Green Horizons: Everyday Work
Jewish National Fund-USA affiliate Green Horizons offers educational outdoor hiking and camping trips for youth in Israel that foster the development of interpersonal and leadership skills and social responsibility, while promoting Zionist values and connection to the Land of Israel.
