Sababa Fellowship

Leadership Program for 9th & 10th Graders

The Sababa Fellowship is a 22-month-long leadership program for 9th and 10th graders. Designed for teens interested in community service, the Fellowship develops their leadership and communication skills. The first year focuses on building skills through training sessions and webinars. The second year is dedicated to mentorship of the first-year Fellows and leadership seminars. Fellows will travel to Israel with Roots Israel Service-Learning Trip  in Summer 2022 (dates TBD). 



Program Requirements*:

  • Raise $360 from a minimum of 20 donors
  • Full participation in a series of ten webinars presented by JNF professionals and lay leaders
  • Attend the Roots Israel three-week trip in the summer of 2022 at no cost to the student (view this year's itinerary)
  • Earn community service hours
  • Identify future Sababa Fellows
  • Recruit a minimum of 10 Sababa Society members
