JNF–USA Project Baseball builds neighborhood baseball
and softball fields and provides coaching and instruction, thereby planting the seed for tomorrow’s stronger, more cohesive communities. Currently, construction is underway for a brand new baseball field in Beit Shemesh, where hundreds of kids—many with North American roots— have embraced this familiar sport as a way to ease their integration into Israeli life. The new facility’s strategic location between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem will also bring international tournaments and attention to Beit Shemesh, along with the accompanying benefits of tourism.

The exciting new complex at Beit Shemesh will include a top quality regulation field, two smaller supplementary fields, dugouts,
bullpens, batting cages, scorecards, an ultra-modern lighting system and comfortable stands for families and fans. The field will allow team members increased playing time and bring training to a new level of excellence. Children and teens will also learn more about teamwork and be able to nurture friendships by allowing them to focus on the game, rather than on sub-par fields.
