Arava International Center for Agricultural Training (AICAT)

AICAT provides professional agricultural training to over 1,200 students annually from 16 countries in Asia and Africa, empowering thousands of people to create a better future for themselves and their home communities and simultaneously providing high quality jobs to the residents of the Central Arava.

Funding Opportunities

LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP SEMINARS: $1,800

These seminars are essential to developing a student’s leadership skills and providing them with entrepreneurship tools that will help them become future leaders and agents of change.

THE ISRAELI EXPERIENCE:  $2,500

AICAT students will discover the history of Israel through a journey to holy sites, museums, trips to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and more. Students get to know, learn, and connect with Israeli culture and become inspired to bring a love of Israel back to their home countries, spreading a Positively Israel message.

COMPUTERS AND MULTI-MEDIA SYSTEMS:  $3,600

Sponsor the cost of bringing 5 new computers to AICAT classrooms to enable enhanced technological learning.

START-UP GRANTS FOR GRADUATES:  $5,000

Grants provide financial backing to selected AICAT graduates who have the vision, courage, and determination to make a difference in their local communities, particularly in the area of food safety. and connect with Israeli culture and become inspired to bring a love of Israel back to their home countries, spreading a Positively Israel message.
